Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data genefly.dev (“the site”, “we”) handles and why. The site is run by an individual developer known as genefly.

What we collect

• No accounts, no tracking. The site has no sign-up, no advertising and no third-party analytics, and sets no tracking cookies.
• Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.
• Email. If you write to [email protected], your message and address are used only to reply to you.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts the site and handles email routing. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces; your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.

Google API usage

genefly’s own automation uses the Google Drive API solely to back up and sync the site owner’s own files in the owner’s own Google Drive. It does not access, collect or share any other person’s Google user data. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Paid tools and subscriptions

Some tools may later be offered by subscription. Before any of them collects personal data (for example an email address or payment details through a payment provider), this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and why.

Your choices

You can clear the stored theme preference at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. To ask about, correct or delete any data related to you, write to [email protected].

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
